    Freezing randomly when web browsing

My laptop randomly freezes when I browse websites. When I use chrome it shows the loading circle on the tab, but then suddenly freezes while loading the site with a half circle. I've also tried FireFox, but the same thing happens. For example, one site that always freezes is tomshardware and at times even Facebook and maybe sometimes Google searches that has alot of images.

I have to power off the computer with the power button and boot it up again every time it happens. I updated everything on windows update and my antivirus is updated and I tried scanning, but there was nothing. I've tried updating Java also. What could be the problem?

I'm on wireless using a Sony VAIO VGN-NW228F and I am only 2-4 feet away from the router.

    Here's the speed test:

I don't think it's the internet connection, but ask away.

Actually, it freezes and then takes about a minute to unfreeze. I might have not waited long enough. Still, it's strange for it to take that long.

There many things that can be at fault here.
Are your video drivers up to date?
Have you tried deleting all your web cache?
What security software do you use?
Does it freeze when playing games, doing anything particularly demanding?

I will try the Hotfix when I start using the laptop again.

    - I had a feeling it would be the video drivers, but I'll check the video drivers later. I was hoping I didn't have to install anything.
    - Yes, I've tried completely clearing the web cache, but it still had the same problem.
    - I use just use MSE.
    - Graphic card is integrated Intel graphics so I don't game on it. I was only using a web browser and I've also tried FireFox, but it still had the same problem.
