Computer perf. choppy MOST of the time.

My computer is acting sad! It used to be much better...

I've checked my drivers, I've done reboots and seen it happen almost from the beginning.

    Flash games are choppy.
Yahoo messenger can't keep up with my typing.
Currently, I have Opera running two games I play often, and we [as a family] use IE 99.9% of the time. I have Chrome installed, and on my taskbar, but nobody uses it [I don't even know who installed it]

Some cores will go up to 80%. CPU load, as a whole, doesn't go up to 30%. I have noticed that it does behave like a HyperThreaded CPU, instead of a true 8-core as it is...

I've downloaded drivers for my FX-8150, went and found the hidden patches from Microsoft for it. I will tell you, my motherboard has that recovery feature, so I'm even willing to update the firmware IF it helps.

as for video games, i would say it's caused by your HD 4250. I notice that your using a OEM case, does it have aqueduct cooling? Bad cooling may lead to your computer throttling down and stuff.

To the best of my knowledge, my cooling is good. My fan kinda screens when the heatsink needs to be cleaned.

Before, when I had issues, I recorded heat temperatures, and it seemed good. I NEVER put a 50% load on the CPU, and 99.9% of the games are simple flash games, and 99.9% of the non-flash are either browser games or included with Win7.

How do I look at the temps again?

download gpu z for your video card. As for the cpu, try this: HWMonitor CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting

also, do u have the latest drivers for your video card?
