Fast user logon with multiple accounts

On my computer, I used to have only 1 user account. When I logged on, it would take less that a second to get to my desktop. I put a second user on, and now it takes about 25 seconds. My guess is that when I was the only user, it knew I would log on and loaded my user before I logged on. My user will be used a lot more frequently than the other user. I was wondering if there was a way to tell the computer "I will probably log on, pre-load my user!" Any suggestions?

    Hello Quadrplax,

If you like, you could set Windows to always log on to your account automatically at startup.
When you want to sign in to another account, you could either use the method in the tutorial below to bypass automatic log in at startup, or use "Switch User" or "Log out" to then sign in to another account.
    Hope this helps, :)

I don't want to automatically log on to my account, because I don't want the other user to have access to my files and/or administrative priviliges.

    I can certainly understand that.

Is it taking this long before or after the log on screen?

For now, you might check items 7 and 17 in the tutorial below to see if they may be responsible for any startup delay.
