    SFC /scannow


    Does sfc /scannow set my settings to default?

    It doesn't change any settings but may remove any custom icons or themes you may have installed.

    But not themes i made myself from pictures right? I used the settings and did not edit any system files manually. (Unless my antivirus did modifications)

    You'll have to try it. the SFC changed a custom start button and file icons I installed but I've not use a whole theme.

    No i mean the themes you set with the settings. It will keep the same settings right?

    Actually i could just run sfc /vertifyonly. I willl keep this unsolved in case i do need to run sfc /scannow
