Error while processing shutdown report
one of our Windows 7 PCs hangs during shutdown. I found cluberti's tutorial and ran the xbootmgr -trace as suggested. It created the ETL file. When I try to open it I get the following message:
"For your Security, Performance Analyzer doesn't process traces while elevated.
Do you want to run Performance Analzyer unelevated instead?"
When I answer "Yes" it starts but throws a second error after a while:
"Trace processing failed:
[0x8000ffff] An unknown error has occuured."
Am I doing the right thing?
Should the Performance Analzyer run with that trace locally at all or should I upload the trace?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
