Check you device mngr for any driver issues. Yellow triangles. It shut down I'm guessing from a video driver issue since it is a graphic intense program. It states couldn't complete due to a driver error or XXX You can go to C:\windows\minidump and zip the file and upload it for someone to have a look at. Fabe

I'm using an NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+ and it says "This device is working properly."

    Which test failed?

What section does the WEI stop at ? ie Performing Aero, measuring CPU, measuring memory etc

Knowing which test it failed on is a good place to start with. At this stage it could be any number of things.

It doesn't stop. It completes, but instead of giving me results it gives me that message.

I think its the driver that may early date as Windows 7 was released on 22nd Oct as all Nvidia driver released was 10th October so hope it will fix the problem when next version is release - Im the same as you with WEI problem as my PC still unrated so think it better to wait until next driver come out soon.

my PC running X2 6400+ 3.2Ghz, 2 x GF9600GT XXX (SLI) and 2 x Samsung 1TB (1 is F3 and 1 is F1) and seem the WEI didnt work so think its the video card driver that may not working yet.. hopefully the next driver fix the WEI problem - if not then contact MS to fix the patch, maybe SP1 that will come out in 2010 to fix the problems...

^^^the problem for me appears to be KIS 2010. others have had the same issue. when they uninstalled KIS 2010 WEI worked fine.

it would be the video card driver that what I think cos before I installed KIS 2010 it still unrated so it more likely to be the driver that need update new version as Win 7 was released in later date so just wait until Nvidia release new driver (ATI already released new driver).
