sfc /scannow unable to repair files (cbs.log inside)

    sfc /scannow unable to repair files (cbs.log inside)


    For some reason, sfc /scannow cannot repair this file corruption. My PC boots and appears to run fine. Also ran the scan offline, with the same error. Here are the contents of the error in the cbs log file:

    vram, it is best to run sfc at least three times. If you have not done that, try it while waiting for someone to view your cbs log. If it still will not repair, try a repair install.

    Okay, then you can try the repair install. If you are not comfortable with that, give a little time for some one to analyze your cbs log. Good luck

    I went ahead and did a repair install. Everything is good now, but I'd still like an answer for future reference :)

    The cbs.log doesn't seem to be complete. Mine was well over 100 lines.
