My wife & i both have similar PCs. But her cDrive is seriously redlining at near full capacity.

A gizmo called WizTree shows a big difference in a folder called program data. I am 1.3Gb She is 23.2Gb.

Got to delete something to get some free space.

Try running ccleaner

See here:

CCleaner - Delete Junk Files

Also try disk cleanup:

Disk Cleanup - Open and Use

Also use add/remove programs to uninstall any applications you are not using.

Programs and Features - Uninstall or Change a Program

If you don't use hibernate, you can disable it and regain space.
