Disk space for system restore :(

I hope you fine
my problem i think its simple
I want to restore my system before a week but my windows 7 restoring points just before 2 days
when i searched through internet i found that i must increase the disk space of restoring but when i did just like
How much disk space does System Restore require?
but after i press apply the following messages :

Hello Dentelle, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Just to clarify, the restore points would have already needed to been created before you will be able to restore back to a week ago. Increasing the disk space will just allow you to be able to store more newly created restore points.

Double check to make sure that your Windows Event Log service is enabled, started, and set to Automatic. Afterwards, try again.
Services - Start or Disable
