The problem with the Folder size program is a common one. That is it is running under the users account and is thus unable to include in the total the contents of folders it cannot read. There are some folders that even users with an admin account are unable to access. Some such folders, like the RRbackups folder, can consume a great deal of disk space.

It appears that the TreeSize program uses a service running under a system account which is able to access all folders. This avoids the problem of the Folder size program.

System Restore points are stored in the "System Volume Information" folder which is only 16 MB. The RRbackup folder is used by the Lenovo Rescue and Recovery program. As it is on the system drive it isn't a very good backup. Apparently it disables System Restore.

As I see it "Rescue and Recovery" takes up too much disk space for the limited benefits it provides.
