Windows 7 window issues.

Hello I hope that someone can help me

Whenever I am working inside windows documents, images, downloads, music or other files I have issues with working with it because whenever there are a lot of files in downloads or documents
It cannot handle ''the pressure'' and it shuts down!

Can anyone tell me what might be wrong?

Do you mean a folder with many files inside? Do less populated folder also "shut down"?
