    How to turn off CHKDSK?


    How do i turn it off?
    When i turn on my PC Windows always checking my harddrive.

    Hello fReaks,

    Doing the tutorial below will reset chkdsk to hopefully stop it for you.

    Check Disk - Reset

AHCI disk. Running chkdsk from Properties Tools with no autofix says there are errors. Dismount the drive and reboot. Chkdsk reports no errors found. Properties Tools Chkdsk still syas there are errors. Auslogics Defrag also says there are errors.
