    Computer sleep settings


    I have all correct settings to allow computer to sleep and wake up for WMC recordings, etc.

    Most of the time it works correctly, but lately (occasionally) the comp will not go to sleep and if I go into the power options, I find the settings have changed.

    Any idea why this would happen?

    i believe it could be caused by something in the background possibly not allowing the system to sleep and in the process changing the power management settings. Also the settings for power management in the bios could have somehow been changed. Check the bios to make sure that has not happened and if it has change it back.
