Found user "fbwuser", is it safe to remove?

    hi there

I was checking some stuff on my pc and for a chance I went to the "users" folder and then I found this "fbwuser"...

some other user said it could be this HotSpot shield, but I never installed it. what I did install recently was Junos Pulse that is a VPN client that I use at work, now uninstalled from the system though..

more info here New account on windows 7 I didn't make.? - Yahoo! Answers

is it safe to delete that user? recently scanned pc for malware with Malwarebytes and said all OK.

    thanks

Do you see HotSpot shield in Control Panel, Programs and Features?

nope, there's no such thing, actually I deleted the user yesterday and all seems normal now anyway. ran a scan for malware and nothing came up.. bit of a mistery... maybe one of the win updates did that?

    thanks

It's not a result of Windows Update. I have no such User account on my system.

mistery, only thing I can think of is that I have installed Juniper Pulse (VPN) for my work, but I removed that. I don't have such program for the Hotspot thingie....

    thanks anyway

Both programs are VPNs, therefore both programs may rely on similar code, thus creating the user fbwuser folder? Just a hypothesis.

It's not causing problems, so I wouldn't worry about it :)
