I don't use outlook and I believe I even have it uninstalled ..... I'll have to check again. But it also could be IE related.

Drugo - FWIW, from wikipedia.org: "Origin is a proprietary computer program for interactive scientific graphing and data analysis. It is produced by OriginLab Corporation, and runs on Microsoft Windows."

    Hope this helps.

Or perhaps Electronic Arts' centralized game client and digital download platform. Some https sites cause these schannel errors.

I was having the same error message on two of my home computers. Turned out that while I had set up our Gmail accounts using POP3 in both Outlook and Thunderbird I had forgotten to go on line and set Gmail to POP3. Once I set our Gmail accounts to POP3 the error message disappeared. Hope that helps a few of you out there.
