Question about prime95 workers

I have a question, should all the workers go onto the next test at the same time or could there be a few second interval between say worker 1 and 2 or 3 and 6 whichever going onto the next task?

I think the workers usually have a coffee break between shifts Ralph

Not too sure mate, been a while since I used prime. I usually use IBT nowadays.

I have seen the same thing in my tests and was assured that it was perfectly normal.

See this thread.

I would assume that it is Windows housekeeping that is getting the worker threads out of sync.

That first line made me laugh because it reminded me of this series of cartoons. Watch until the end!

Yep, it's perfectly normal for the workers to become out of sync as each core is doing different background processing tasks.

So basically, nothing to worry about unless a worker fails.

P95 workers start core testing one at a time, about a 10-15 second delay between each start.

A Prime95 question
Hi folks, Got my EVGA Superclock cooler installed and started working on overclocking my E8500. :p I'm currently running Prime95 64bit version 26.6. It's been running for nearly 10 hours without any apparent problem, but the strange thing (to me, anyway) is that "worker 1" is ahead of...
