how to read system usage(memory, cpu etc) from java code

I am reading memory usage (etc) from proc file system in linux.
Trying to do the same on windows7; i know I can get system usage data (CPU, memory) from windows task manager.

1)However I want to read such information programmatically in Java (now I read various ACPI, IPMI and process related files from proc files in linux). How can I read similarly in windows 7

2)I would like to read more than CPU and memory (ex: power, fan, temperature etc). Where to access such info and how to read them from java code

If there is file interface to all the system info (as in linux), I know I can open file in Java. Not sure if that is how it is supported in windows or differently
