PC froze: What to look for in Event Viewer

    Hello

Lately I got problem with my PC. I just can't source what could be the origin of the problem.

    I did post a tread
How to know what caused Windows to crash.

Now, I want to be more specific on the information that I could get ( if there is any) from Windows Event Viewer

While I was working, A blue screen with a message that Windows had to close because a device had a failure. No message of the device

    - I shot down and reload... same message
    - I shot down, replace my SSD with a previous one Same problem
    - Remove a data hard disk with my old SSD. System start ok
    - Replace the new SSD without data hard disk, system start ok
    - Replace the data hard disk with New ssd, system start ok

This is an intermittent problem. I can't source the origin of the problem

    - did a defrag on my data disk ( not on the SSD). All ok

I'm looking on the Events Viewer and I see critical error message. But, it is like a foreign language for me
    Kernel Power ID 41 (63)

    Again, any help trully appreciated
    Martin

    Event viewer is not always the best way to go in this situation;
This post that I made in our Vista Forum may be more helpful

I think that the clean boot mentioned in that post would be the best place to start
