    Abnormally Stopped System Services

Result of a System Health Report.
What do these do and how do we fix them?

They are stopped on my Win 7 system to. Looking at services.msc they are set to Manual so will only start if needed.

But why mark them as errors? Half of the Services are set to Manual and they were not reported as errors.

Thanks Gandalf. I used to know that but my memory isn't what it used to be (sigh).

I don't get any error indications like you do, even though those services are stopped on my system too.

Thanks, Youngster. That's just what I needed to hear. <Sigh!>
It's me. My magnetic personality (EMI) is interfering with my PC.

I solved this issue. I disabled the two Display Names in Services.

Those services are listed as an error because Windows is trying to start those two services and it can't. (Manual services are started/stopped as needed - but Windows can't start those two although it wants to)

As to what they are, Black Viper's website is always a good source of information.

    Example- re: peer networking
    » Peer Networking Grouping

According to Black Viper: It's OK for that service to be disabled if you don't plan to use Remote Assistance or HomeGroup for Networking
