Windows 7 file transfer speed is running no higher than 1mb

    Hi

I am having a problem with my file transfer speed that when I try to transfer data from internal or external my transfer speed will not go higher than 1mb. I am using USB3.0 and both slot are 3.0.

It has only just recently started happening but I do use an TeraCopy for my file transfers as it seems to be faster and I have tryed just using windows but it still the same.

    My hardware Specs are:
    XFX 550w 80=Bronze
    ASUS M5A97 AM3+
    AMD Vishera FX-4350 4.2Ghz Overclocked to 4.5
    8gb Dual Channel DDR3 1333Mhz
    1Tb SEagate Barracuda 7200RPM SATA 3
    2GB AMD Radeon HD 7850

    Thanks

Temporary try disabling your antivirus software before starting the transfer. Hows the speed now?

Did you install the ASUS "USB 3 Boost" that is on the MB CD? Have you tried reinstalling the USB 3 drivers?
