Can't delete/deactivate/change certain tasks in Windows Task Scheduler
Hello Seven Forums,
I am using an ASUS UL50VT PC with Windows 7 Home Premium x64.
As outlined in the title, I have a question about Windows Task Scheduler, which doesn't do what I want it to do. I want to delete, deactivate or change certain tasks in Task Scheduler created by the manufacturer of the computer (i.e. ASUS). An example could be that I want the task 'WC3' (Wireless Console 3) to start delayed at logon, but when I try doing that, Task Scheduler says that an error has occurred and furthermore, that the specific account name is not valid?? I am logged on as Administrator when trying to do this.
Oh... I just found out that I can disable programs with the account name 'Administratorer' (meaning 'Administrators' in English) but not programs with the name 'Administrators' (this is what is says). I guess this is the real problem? I found the account name the task runs under in 'Security settings' under the 'General' tab.
So right now I want to ask you if you have any solution for making the tasks deletable, perhaps other than just deleting the software. Maybe I should try that and reinstall?
Thanks for your help.
