    SFC Cannot Repair Files

    Hi guys,

I have run sfc three times now and I get the message that sfc has found corrupt files but was unable to repair them. Could someone point out to me what to do?

My CBS details file is attached.

    Thanks in advance

Nope, mine is genuine. When I first got my laptop, I did do a cloning process to change to an SSD. Could that be the cause? However, this was done a year and a half ago and it is only recently that I have started to have these problems.

Firstly, how long is sysprep supposed to take? Mine has been running for 25 minutes now.
Second, I'm quite a noob at this but I was just curious what this sysprep does and how it helps my situation?

You could do a system restore.

I had the same problem quite a while back, you can guess what I did.

OK. I'm kinda starting to freak out now. I shut down while the sysprep was still running and when I restarted, I decided to do a system restore. Now after completing the system restore, there are 2 error messages when I start up the computer (something to do with a memory error) and my desktop has no background, it is completely black. My programs I pinned to the taskbar are also just blank icons now. I can't even start firefox because it says the program is miising or unaccessible. Can someone please help?
