    Some USB devices causing stuttering

Recently I have been having an issue with stuttering on my computer running Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium whenever I use either my Logitech F310 gamepad or any of the extra buttons on my Madcatz S.T.R.I.K.E. 7 keyboard (the regular keys and touchscreen works fine). The stuttering only begins to occur after my computer has been on for about an hour and seems to get worse the longer it is on; at first it is barely noticeable then can freeze a frame about a second. The stuttering will occur no matter what application is running, it will even occur when there is no application running at all. I have tried switching USB ports, uninstalling then reinstalling the drivers, and formatted my computer, but the stuttering persists. I have my suspicions that an update might be responsible since after I formatted my computer I didn't install updates right away and the stuttering never occurred (at least that I know of), but after installing updates the stuttering began to occur again. I am not sure if it matters but I also have an external hard drive and my headphones plugged into USB ports, but I have had those long before I had any problems. I am extremely grateful for any help.
