I have to clean all logs from my PC to speed it up(CCleaner doesn't get them all) So I made a .bat to help do that(lot quicker than doing it by hand) Logcleaner click on logcleaner.bat and it will download. Right click and run as admin. Hope this helps!
do not run a batch file from an unknown source !

1 install the free version of malware bytes anti malware Malwarebytes | Free Anti-Malware & Internet Security Software then update mbam and do a full system scan and quarantine and then delete found problems.

    2. For xp change the prefetch value to 1 for vista -8 change the value of superfetch to 1 : (LINK) Prefetcher - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

3 for the virtual memory change the min to 1500 and for the max 4000 also .... Processor scheduling should be set to applications NOT background services

4 and finally restart the computer. When computer is ready for whatever the task is your doing be sure to defrag your drive that windows is installed on
