Do not delete those amd files. They are use by Windows 7.

AMD originally developed the 64 bit extention to the x86 architecture. Therefore, modern 64 bit processors use the AMD64 instruction set regardless of whether it's Intel or AMD.

Where are you coming up with these ideas.

What program are you using for your cleaning of your system?

You do not want to do anything with winsxs folder. Just leave them alone.
If your like me you will find many things in your system you don't have knowledge of. Just Google them and find out what they are.

I'm hoping you asked about them before deleting them not after.

Here are a couple of Windows 7 tool you can use.

Here is a Tutorial by Brink you might be interested in also.

Pick and choose which steps you want to do. You don't have to do all of them.
