    Start up painfully slow.[Win7]


    I noticed my start up has become extremely slow, I tested it using the timing vbs which was posted and a full restart took 180 seconds. When I first built the computer it was taking 20-30 seconds maximum.

    I have done sfc /scannow twice received "Found corrupt files but cannot fix", I haven't installed anything that I can remember that caused the slow downs. When it boots there is a black screen after the windows loading screen that lasts for about a minute.

    Please upload your Msinfo file.

    MSINFO32:
    • Please go to Start and type in "msinfo32.exe" (without the quotes) and press Enter.
    • Save the report as an .nfo file, then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
    • Also, save a copy as a .txt file and include it also (it's much more difficult to read, but we have greater success in getting the info from it).

    Reduce items at start-up:
