Long boot time 5+ minutes from ON to Log In to windows

i have extremely long boot time from i turn it on or from reboot to i can log into windows.
i think it's around 5 minutes or more. the Boot_Device_led is constantly glowing not pulsing but ON the entire time from before i get to POST til it stops and then it boots into the windows logo then it stays there for another 2 - 3 minutes before it goes further and i can log into windows. the windows welcome audio is not stuttering.

Edit: I've read in the motherboard manual that A2 (boot code) mean IDE Detect. but since i have all my configurations in BIOS for AHCI i dont understand why its still looking for IDE drives. anyone know this ?

disable SATA connections in bios and the boot fixed itself. although i dont know if this can damage the system and maybe i could reinstall the sata drivers and reset the whole thing to work as it should.

Edit: omg i have no hard drives :S
