    Working patch for 3.25gb usable out of 4.00gb?


    This site explains it but I haven't been able to get anything to actually work...

    I have kernel 6.1 (Build : 7601) apparently my kernel load version is 6.1.7601.17514

    I just want to correct the 769MB of system reserved like the above website explain.

    get x64 - Pro and up can use 192GB ram

    2^32 = 4,294,967,296 aka 4 gig

    Your system specs show you have a 64 bit OS. Is this correct?
    The article in question is for a 32 bit OS and is irrelevant to a 64 bit OS. There is no way it can work.

I have an Acer Aspire laptop with 2.5GB of Ram. System properties lists the 2.5GB of ram but only 2.25GB usable. I had Vista on this laptop without this conflict. The bios settings are very basic, nothing that looks like it has to be changed. The only difference that I see is Vista was 32 bit and...
