I've been editing on Sony Vegas Pro 13 64 bit and of late have crash after crash due to low memory when rendering. Then I stumbled across the below -
Can you tell me how to rectify my problem by analyzing this info or I'd be happy to supply additional info. Thx

Try turning off all visual effects. Use windows classic under personalize and see if the crashes continue.
Normally, this will decrease performance as when Aero is turned on it uses your gpu to power the interface so your cpu and ram are freed up.

You may simply need more ram.

Video editing takes a lot. I would recommend 16gb ram. This gives you some leeway. Remember, it it not just sony vegas that is running-windows, antivirus software, other security software, any other startup with boot software etc.

You can open task manager under performance and use resource monitor under the ram tab to see what happens when your rendering.
