Slow speed video + running games

    Hello,

heres my pc spec, im not sure if its the correct forum,
    http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...312&CatId=4928
the only thing I replaced was this
    http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...ampaign=CANLET
im running the last windows patch and driver for everything direct x , 3d card

I used to run games like skyrim or team fortress, with decent definition with no lag , now I cant even run it, its very slow, cant even play it, even when watching streaming video online, its lagging out
I have the minimum program running in backgroup, I recently did a format, I try to keep it simple on it , most settings on performance

Any idea how to improve this ? Id like to play games and run them smooth, my budjet is a bit limited and my skills
Any guides or ideas programs, what to do, or hardware to replace, cheap scenario prefered, I still want to keep it

    Thanks a lot

Please fill out your complete system specs. Were not going to guess for you.

You need to bring a lot more information to the forum in order for us to help you.

Please read this article to understand how to ask for technical help:

How to Ask a Question When You Want Technical Help

If you do not understand, ask. Please refrain from using 1 sentence responses, and avoid text stating things like "I am not good with computers".

It is okay to not know something, and we can work together to solve almost any issue. This is a two way street, both sides must work together to get results.

Please fill out your system specs (if possible) by following this tutorial here: (Click the blue words)

Once we have more information, we will be happy to assist you. :)

    That helps a lot :)

1.) Please download the latest graphic drivers from here:

    Desktop

2.) Your power setting is set to power saver. This can slow down performance. I suggest setting it to maximum performance.

Click type power in the search box. Click power options. Choose High performance. (You may need to click the chevron down arrow under hide additional plans to see it.)

    3.) Restart

Hmmm, so nothing has improved? And you stated these games ran fine before?

You could see if maybe the settings got turned up higher in the game accidentally somehow. Try setting the graphics lower in the games settings.

I see your MB temp is at 44c. Quite hot from my experience since MBs shouldn't get too hot. Your CPU temp is only at 23. I recommend you open up your desktop and do some dust cleaning maintenance.
