thanks !!!
will do.
bingo, fixed. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
i even made a ISO USB stick boot, and boots to repair in 1min not 10min (DVD)
i guess that file was pulled from a CAB file?
if others need the ISO its here
Official Windows 7 SP1 ISO from Digital River « My Digital Life
In this case it was taken from a Windows ISO (it's on the SP1 disk)
Glad it's working now - good luck!
thanks, again.
Do you know if MS, ever made a slip-streamed, ISO for windows 7, that supports, USB3?
USB3 is not part of either RTM or SP1 Windows 7 - and never will be.
You can try creating a slipstreamed version with the drivers present - but you'd need to have the proper drivers for every possible variant of the ID.
Better to install the specific drivers post-install.
thanks, yes, post install is easy
but not lap/net books with only USB3 ports, nor 'optical drives"
and using boot-able memory flash sticks.
sure w8 , is the fix.
thanks for the" never will be" fact, that is what we needed.
