Windows 8 Pro won't run in VirtualBox

I can't run Windows 8 Pro. When I open the VM I get the error - VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration is not available on your system. Certain guests (e.g. OS/2 and QNX) require this feature and will fail to boot without it.

I have given it 1023 Mb of ram and 88GB HDD space but still won't boot. Windows 7 Starter, Linux and Windows XP works without any problem.

Hi Motion and Welcome to SevenForums,

Have you checked that you have got virtualisation enabled in your BIOS?

    Regards,

Is the Windows 8 Pro OS 32 or 64 bit? Virtual Box will run a 64 bit OS on a 32 bit host but VT-x virtualization must be supported by the CPU and enabled in the BIOS. It appears that your CPU does not support this feature.
