    - somehow I managed to squeezed another tenth of a point from the C: drive..!!
    - could this be because I moved the My Documents and My Music folders to the storage drive..?

    I've just pushed the WEI up even higher - it's gone up to 7.3 via enabling AHCI in BIOS..
    blimey, the rig is going like a mad thing - especially MSOffice..!!

    Well tried the ACHI myself and windows did not like that at all.(ie BSD on boot)
    so back to IDE for me

    You can try, loading your ACHI drivers re-boot go straight to BIOS change the settings from IDE to ACHI or RAID save/exit.

    This doesn't work on every MOBO, but worked on mine.

    Mine with all the latest updates on current hw no oc'ing. i definitely need some hw upgrades.

    well 7.9 is the max, i got a 7.8!
    but you could OC that 920 to 4GHz and have a min score of 7.7 if you wanted. CPU will hit 7.9 on a 5Ghz

    980x coming in a couple days..
    I'm quite sure I can push my 5970 quite high and get 7.9 gaming/graphics, not sure if I can get 980x to 7.9 on water though. I've seen some 7.9 cpu scores they were all 5ghz+ on ln2
