    Yep, guess it's time to search for a SSD or a 15,000RPM SAS HD .

    This is my result, after a clean install and no overclocking.

    I'd still like to know how you're getting two 295s to run on a 500W PSU. The ones I've looked at have a minimum of a 650/680 PSU (each).
    I just ran a box with a Core i7 920, with 6GB of RAM, 2 GTX 295's, 2 7200 RPM hard drives, 1 optical drive through the following website and it came back as wanting approx 570watts for this configuration.

    This is from my scratch/test/sandbox machine at work that I put together a few weeks ago;

    Not too bad, considering the low cost of the machine (~$495)
    --Asus P5QL-Pro Mobo for $85
    --Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 at 3.0ghz $167
    --4GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2-800 RAM for $46
    --Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB for $54
    --eVGA GeForce 8600GT 256MB ram for $29.99
    --Antec 300 case with Antec 430PSU for $89
    --Samsung 22X DVD Burner for $23
