Windows 7 - After using Cleartype - Text in every application fuzzy

Hi Forum peeps,

I recently installed Windows7Ultimate build 7600, and everything was going fine till i played around with cleartype.

In games, IE, applications, desktop all of my fonts are fuzzy and not in proportion.

The problem is.. with the Cleartype tool, I cannot distinguish the difference between the choices, not from impairment, but they all look the same.

I suspect this is not the only problem, I have been changing my resolution to get the best picture and now when i set to the resolution 1440 x 900 widescreen, as I have been running in the past, my desktop shrinks to 1/2 the size of my screen (32 inch Panasonic LCD).

I have been through ever setting and re-installed my video Drivers (2 x Radeon HD3850 Crossfire) also installed the ATI CCC and tried changing settings in that.

When I first installed Windows 7 it was perfect, but I cannot seem to undo this font change.

I never thought that changing a simple resolution setting would cause this much trouble.

Any thoughts or help would be greatly Appreciated.

Ok so i worked it out, It wasnt a windows 7 issue, it was a "me" issue, After installing this and playing around i have an apparent lack of sleep and didnt realise i changed an aspect settin on my Tv.

Maybe so but you learned something and since you posted your mistake, others can learn something too! And that's a good thing.
