    Can't run chkdsk

When I try running chkdsk, I get the message that I don't have the privilege. I am able to add software, delete software and perform system changes as I am the only user. How can I upgrade my privilege?

I checked and I can run a chkdsk automatically on startup. I would like to know how I can run it from the command prompt.
