    Slow Log in

Hey eveyone. I have a issue with Windows 7 while logging in it unusually slow to log in. I log in and get a black screen for about 1 minute. I did a defragment and disabled start up programs and still slow.

there could be a lot of possibilities to slow login. Is this computer for home use?

Hello jpolacko mate have a look at this and see what you think some of the tweaks are really worth doing.

Optimize Windows 7 see point 9 in particular

If you try some of the registry tweaks then back up that first for peace of mind
    Registry - Backup and Restore

First of all though I would run these - in safe mode if you like

Check your start-up list. Remove unecessary auto updating apps from the list.

Have you tried those scans yet - it is pretty basic thing to do first up mate.
If you take a look at this Optimize Windows 7
especially point 9 you might make some headway.
