Can delete or open file, but cant copy it to any location

    Can delete or open file, but cant copy it to any location


    So i have a file, a .cab extension, i can open it via winrar and saw the properties of that file, also i can delete it to recycle bin, but i cant copy that file to another location in same hdd or to my external hdd. Already run chkdsk and 0 bad sector in my ext hdd and the hdd that contain that file.Oh, and my pc was freeze when copying that file.

    Any help would be appreciate :)

    How big is the file? Maybe sending it to yourself as an attachment to an E-Mail then save it where you wish?

    @Berton thanks for your response Berton and sorry for long reply :) The file is big since its a part of visual studio installer, some days ago i noticed that the HDD of that file is almost failing so I can make the conclusion that some sector of that file is unreadable, that makes my pc freeze when I want to copy that file to another location, but thanks anyway for your response Berton i think my problem is solved now
