How do I make Unindexed Search faster?

Hi Guys,

Is there a way to make the Unindexed Search faster? I am searching on a network drive. Drive size is 1TB. The file I'm searching gets found easily (1-2mins) but the remaining search, i.e., the time it takes for the whole search to finish took about 30 mins. Is there a way to lessen this 30mins? I'm testing an upgrade to our network and I'm gonna iterate the search for at least 10 times so it would be better if the search time is less. Take note that I'm really trying to test the unindexed search.

Thanks!

Ultra File Search - File Search Utility

This Utility does not use background Indexing, does not waste system resources and does not use extra space on the Disk. UltraFileSearch is available in two Editions: Standard (Shareware) and Lite (Freeware). Each Edition is also available in Portable Version.

Does i7 make virtual pc's any faster?
Hi all! I'm interested in buying a laptop, one of the main uses will be running vmware with potentially server 2008 and/or a couple of W7 workstations. I was wondering if vmware or hyper-v utilize an i7 to its full potential or will I not really notice any difference if I opt for an i5 instead....

How can I make it faster?
I'm pretty comfortable with the performance. But, just for shits, I'd like to see how far I can take it without it being unstable. I ran 3DMark06 and systems with lower specs were destroying my scores. Curious as to why? Also, I have an original ATI Radeon 5850. Can I run, lets say an XFX,...
