    Scanned & Defragmented

After work, I came home and did my work on the computers that occurs every other Tuesday. Scanned and Defragmented the Windows 8.1 desktop as well as the Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit laptops. My medicine wanted me to take a nap, but I didn't. So, now I am tired. Good night all!

Windows 8 automatically performs a number of maintenance tasks for you, including smart system diagnostics, checking to see if any updates are available for your software (including Windows 8 itself and performing security scans.

Yes, Maxie I know. But, I prefer to do the defragmenter manually. But, it is set to automatic defrags as monthly.

But, I do these scans every other week. I just do a quick scan every day and check for updates. I know Windows will automatically check for updates, but I would rather do it myself. I like to see and know what it's doing.
