Windows 7: Multiple "invalid" operations. System Restore inoperable.

I would not use Revo as it is too aggressive and has ruined installs, whereas CCleaner has no documented cases I've seen of messing up Win7 due to it being less aggressive.

I would not use it at all. There is no evidence that Win7 needs it. It is a highly resilient OS which may not need any of the maintenance used in XP.

The burden of proof should be on the tool to prove it does something Win7 needs. What are you trying to remedy by using Revo?

I think it all started with a dog of a program for photo editing called DXO Optics and their recommendations. Thanks for your input.
