Re-logging back into sites after reboot
Hi all,
Does anyone know why I have to keep signing in to all my forums and hotmail after every reboot? Even my desktop layout doesn't save. How do I resolve this please?
Thnaks in advance

Use Firefox. At least it will solve the website issues.
It sounds like your browser is not saving cookies properly. Either that or you're deleting them.
It could be that your computer is set to delete cookies at shut down. If that is the case you can reset or in your favorites make a folder call ist sites to save (or whatever pleases you). Put a few of the problem sites in the folder see if you still lose the settings when you boot. W7 is set to save all cookies that you have in favorites even if you delte them with a disc clean up.
To reset your handling of cookies go to internet options go to general and uncheck the box at the lower left.

I am using Firefox, it saves the password and username, I just have to keep clicking 'log in' everytime I go to a forum or website after reboot. It's a bit annoying, I haven't toyed with any of the cookie settings so can't see why Windows 7 64-bit can be default to not porperly save cookies.
