    I do not have this turned off, can I ask, why would I need to turn it off? Just curious is all.

    i read that some malwares use it to hide

    No don't turn if off.
    If one turned off every System File a infection could get in the system wouldn't work.

    What security programs do you have installed? It's not listed in your system specs.

    eset smart security 7 (v8 is buggy) malwarebyte pro
