Tune Up Utilities causes a lot of problems we see here. If you have a System Restore point before you installed it then I'd revert back and avoid it. Otherwise maybe it will let you restore the tweaks it made to see how things perform without them.

Try turning off all msconfig Startups and non-MS Services and reboot to see how long it takes to start.

Another good tool to trace your startup is Soluto to remove unnecessary apps from the boot : Soluto Support

You could try doing a trace using this tutorial by cluberti:
Gathering a Startup, Shutdown, Sleep, Hibernate, or Reboot Trace

Well as everyone knows I am no expert but I would have liked to see what was in the Start up tab (unless I have missed it) and as for the Tune up app in my view they are crap and tell you what you want to hear and best of all they sound so plausible like for example "your machine has multiple problems etc etc " so I would myself be dumping it.

Just out of interest it would be nice to see a shot of the task manager tabs too especially the Performance and Processes ones, plus what is going on in the Resources Manager.

Hello everyone ! Wow, so many suggestions !

OK, I just turned the PC ojn and took screens of the startup as well as ther task manager, and everything else asked for. Idf I missed anything let me know. I will uninstall TuneUp now.

Doing the trace will require assistance, since it looks a little messy to do alone (read "I dont wanna ruin anything")

    Looking into Soluto.

LE: Isn't Soluto for mobiles and tablets ? It says I have to download it from Google Play or App Store.

Could the boot problem be due to the fact that Windows is installed on my HDD, which is 1 TB ?

If you do end up needing to do the trace, you can post a question in the tutorial asking for help, and include a link to this thread.

Fair enough, I think I might need to. Event Viewer isn't helping much.

Soluto 1.3.1323.0 - Download - FileHippo.com works well with PC's, will trace your Startup, provide a link to your PC that when clicked upon will show a map of Startup and suggestions for what to turn off or delay. It will also show all Windows startups so you can see if one of those is delaying Startup and deal with it directly with our help.

Another useful tool (free) is StartupDelayer from iirc R2studios. Ignore the name...it has a tab where you can see virtually everything that started from bootup, and the time it loaded in hh:mm:ss, so for example if this-or-that loaded at such-and-such a time that is many seconds later than the previous, well then one of those two needs to be looked at.

I haven't used it in a long while but recall it was a lifesaver for me to spot a startup item that was slowing my boot times.

Hi, maxseven. Thanks for the suggestion :)

OK, I ran Soluto and this is what came up after a restart.

Will try again in the morning to see how long it takes then> Usually after being shut down for a few hours it takes even longer.
