Sleep mode

Hello,
When I enter sleep mode it takes about 15 sec which is very long when comparing to XP (3 sec). But thats only first problem, second is that it doesnt work, it turns off fans for about 0,5sec and immediataly turns on computer. How can I repair it?

Hello Fiorello,

You might check through the items in this tutorial below to help see what may be waking your computer up. A common problem is having the "Allow to Wake Computer" option enabled for the Network adapter in it's "Power Management" properties settings in Device Manager.

If it's taking that long to go to sleep, then double check to make sure you have hibernate disabled to see if that helps.
