Can you easily format the partition and reinstall your games? You really need to extend your C: drive before you do anything else.

I know of no good reason to partition a a drive that small.

Put Windows 7 and your games on the drive with out a separate partition. Their is room for everything or their isn't.
If their isn't room for everything you need a bigger drive or another drive added. Their is not magic space gained or speed gained by using more partitions on the same drive.

Just leave it as it is. Extending the C partition will be a big deal for you. Right now you still have ample free space on the C partition. Just make sure you do not move any additional big files on C. Normal programs is OK because they are generally small. But no videos or large picture files.

The system I'm on Windows 7/64 has no photo albums, video albums, large program, games or music stored. Also no hibernation I'm using 37 gb.

    No No No.

    I did not post that.

So your C partition is 37gb
    I have a 240 gig SSD with a Reserve and C partition.
I'm still not understanding why you want to make a D partition.

Here I will post a picture of what I have on this computer.
