Hi, i need to know how to optimally partition one maxtor 160gb hdd, and with which size

What do you want to use the partition for... Just to use for your pics/docs/videos? Prob best to leave 120GB to the operating system and programs, that only leaves about 30GB unless you get rid of the hiberfil.sys and the pagefile.sys

A 160GB HDD isn't really that big for use with an OS, programs and games. I suppose it depends on which games you're going to be playing. If you can answer that it may help us inform you better.

Your C: drive is way too small. Do you have any files on your D: drive at the moment?
