Hey guys,
I been having this chkdsk problem occuring for quite a while already.
My dad use to be fixing my computer, but since I moved I want to solve this on my own.
I am not that "literate" in the computer, but can get any info needed to help solve it with some explanation how to get it.
Can anyone help? Where do I start?
I often get the CHKDSK on start up either of C drive, or F drive (mostly music and movies).

Here's how to see the results of ChkDsk.

VIEW CHKDSK (CHECK DISK) LOG
The log giving the results from running Check Disk can be viewed using the Event Viewer.
WIN key | type EVENTVWR.MSC | ENTER key
Wait for the Summary of Administrative Events section in the middle pane to be populated.
In the left-pane, navigate to Windows Logs | Application
In the middle-pane, click on the word Source.
This will sort the events by Source
Scroll to find the event(s) titled WinInit and with the Event ID 1001.
Under the General tab, there is a scrollable display of the output from CHECK DISK.
You can click in that scrollable area, select all of the text with Ctrl + A and then paste your selection into NotePad, WordPad, Word or the editor of your choice.
A “copy” giving event info, time, and so forth can also be made by:
In the right-hand pane, in the Event 1001, wininit section, click on Copy, then on Copy Details as Text. Now you can paste into your favorite editor.
Next run the HD maker's full diag/repair CD scan: Hard Drive Diagnostics Tools and Utilities (Storage)
Do you have any performance issues with Windows 7 or is this the only problem now?
let's check the System Files anyway: Type CMD in start search box, rightclick to Run as Admin, type sfc /scannow
check the event viewer/Admin View for repeat errors. Google text and ID# to see how others have resolved them.

After runing sfc /scannow, run it again if it didn't give you a clean bill of health.
After getting a clean bill of health from sfc,
then run chksk again.
Check Disk found a couple of bad sectors before. If check disk continues to find bad sectors, then there is a high possibility that your disk is on its last legs and you should immediately, if not sooner, backup all of your data and then get a new disk.
Ok, I'm not sure if I'm quite getting all of these, but I have 4 Hard Disk Drives C, D, E, F.
Should I check all 4 or just the ones I have been having bad problems on (C & F)?
And HDD C usually runs on start up correct, since it is in use?
At the moment I am doing the sfc /scannow again. Just like you said.
