    Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data

    If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)


    this sfc scan is fixed but still having problems with my computer

    CMOS Setup Utility is the correct place.

    MB Intelligent Tweaker(MIT)
    Advanced Frequency Settings
    Advanced CPU Core Features
    - CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E) - disable
    - CPU EIST Function - disable

    Use PC like this for a while, if this doesn't stop slow downs, turn them back to AUTO.

    the problem is now fixed. my pc have 8 cpu cores but where only using 1, i went to msconfig, boot, advanced options, and under number of processors it said 1, so i just unchecked "Number of processors" and restarted, went to the same place and now it said i had 8, ty for all the help tho.

    Now 2 and 2 is adding up to 4.

    Who changed the setting because that is not default for Windows 7?
    Default has no check marks.

    its happened after a bluescreen so i dont know how it happened
