CPU enhanced Halt (C1E) etc ?

Hi. CPU enhanced Halt (C1E), C3/C6 State Support, CPU EIST Function. Would it harm if I disabled any of these as these are at auto?. I no these are to do with overclocking. when changed to XMP profile 1 It doesn't seem to like my PC so turning these to disable will it help. If I did disable would I have to change anything else like voltage?

It will not help your XMP profile, leave those alone. XMP is for memory, you need to have XMP memory to use it.

Google Chrome grinds to a halt or can't access page

Win 7 Grinding Halt
The story so far.... Came home from a week abroad. Kids had been looking up game cheats (suspicious). System (HP desktop, 3 years old, upgraded from Vista to Win 7 Pro x32) was running slow and coming to a gradual freeze. Had been working just fine before I left town, and for the last few months...

Music causes non-BSOD system halt
Here's where I'm at: When I play audio (i.e. music) on my new Windows 7 UE/64 installation, my system intermittently hangs up. When this happens, the last 1/2 second or so of audio in the buffer repeats over and over again, the screen goes black (or occasionally a black-snow looking effect), and...

Wireless speed drops to almost halt, Windows 7 64 bit
I just built a system with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit with a Gigabyte WP30N wireless card. When connecting to my router (a Netopia 3357), the network speed is initially OK (500kb/s), but then drops straight to a consistant slow (20kb/s). The time it takes for the speed to drop is anything...
